Risk-Based Approach
We adopt a risk-based approach: customers, products, transactions, and geographies that pose higher risk receive greater scrutiny.
Key Risk Factors We Consider:
Customers creating multiple accounts from the same device or IP address.
Frequent small transactions or unusually large transactions.
Transactions or customers in high-risk jurisdictions or jurisdictions subject to sanctions.
Performed when we detect suspicious behavior or inconsistencies in customer information.
We verify the identity of customers and purchasers according to risk level and transaction type.
Transaction Monitoring and Limits
We continuously monitor account and transaction activity for unusual patterns. Monitoring includes automated alerts and manual reviews.
Examples of Transactions for Review:Purchases that are significantly larger relative to historical behavior.
Multiple rapid top-ups followed by immediate withdrawals or transfers.
Multiple refund requests shortly after purchase completion.
Transactions from multiple countries within a short period or IP/device anomalies.
If we have reason to suspect that a transaction is connected to unlawful activity or money laundering, we reserve the authority to refuse or stop the transaction at any point.
Suspicious Activity Reporting
If we detect activity that is potentially criminal, we will:
Escalate the matter immediately to our Compliance Officer.
Document the facts, evidence, and steps taken.
File an internal Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) and submit to relevant authorities within required timelines.
Preserve and produce records to law enforcement as required by law.
